Question:

  • Do we even want users to modify their pastes?
  • Do we want revision history, like (for example) gist.github.com?

I'd like to see the behaviour of the late ptpb.pw in rushlink, that is:

  • A user can DELETE a paste/URL given a certain identifier that's only known to the user after a successful paste
  • No edits nor revision history.

As some people on IRC said, we could implement edits or history by creating a new post and linking to the old one. That would be interesting, but perhaps for a later release.
